How to Become a Member of Scotscraig Golf Club
Scotscraig Golf Club is the 13 th Oldest Golf Club in the World and is very proud of its traditions and history. To become a member of this famous golf club is simple.
At present there is no Waiting List and applicants can become members within 6 weeks. All that is required is for a full application form to be completed and proposed and seconded by 2 members of 5 years minimum.
If you do not know of any members to countersign your form please Email the Managing Secretary at manager@scotscraiggolfclub.com and he will arrange for the Captain and another Council member to meet you and introduce you to the Club.
The Annual Subscription at present (September 2007) is £435. There is also an Entry Fee of £500 but this may be paid up over a period of 5 years if required.
The Club also have a Loyalty Card Scheme and an annual payment of £50 is made at time of the Annual Subscription and this entitles the member to a discount of 10% on drink and 12 ½% on food. The Loyalty Card can be topped up at any time. Members are made aware that any funds remaining on the Card at the end of the Financial Year (end February) which remain unspent on the original £50 will be retained by the Club.
The only other payments which become due annually are SGU/FGA/SLGA and LGU Levies and these are as follows (September 2007).

Members of Scotscraig Golf Club are also entitled to 50% discounted green fees when visiting most golf courses in Fife. Details of the courses involved in this initiative can be obtained from the Managing Secretary.

Overseas Membership
Overseas Membership is also available for individuals who are permanently resident outside the British Isles. There is no Entry Fee for Overseas Membership but there is a requirement to pay an Annual Subscription of £317.50 (September 2007). Overseas members joining the Club after 1st March 2007 will have no voting rights.
There will also be the entitlement of 50% discounted green fees when visiting most golf courses in Fife.
