Welcome To Scotscraig Golfing Club

Founded in 1817, restored for today

Just 15 minutes along the Fife coast from St Andrews, Scotscraig is a continuation of golf's story, both filled with heritage, and rejuvenated for today's modern golfer.

Designed by Old Tom Morris and later refined by James Braid, the course offers a classic test, blending traditional links and heathland character. A six-time Open Qualifying venue and host of the Scottish PGA Championship in 2023 and 2025, Scotscraig Golfing Club has long challenged Scotland's best, while remaining a course for everyday golfers.

Founded in 1817 by members of The Society of St Andrews Golfers - the group that was to become The Royal & Ancient Golf Club - Scotscraig holds a genuine place in the game's history, and is a must-play for visitor to Fife's Golf Coast.
